In a bit of a bind...

I've been trying to do a CMS of sorts for work... but around every corner I run into trouble. First I could not learn the stuff fast enough to code my own in time... and now my backup plan has failed as well. I thought I read that Joomla would work on MSSQL but appearenly not so all that time has been waisted.

So now I just need something... and the only thing I am missing is security. I need to rig up a quick basic site that requires you to log in to see the information becuase some of it is confidential but not super confidential I just need enough security to prevent unauthorized users from getting in for a couple months until I can get a better system setup.

Right now it's looking like this site is gonna be a very basic HTML file(s). Which sucks becuase we have 70+ hotels I'll have to do individual pages for... but most of it will be copy and paste :buck:

Please help!

P.S. this is not getting me any damned money, I do help support... and becuase I have a little background in this crap they asked me to do this.

why not install mysql and go ahead with joomla, i think that's your best solution considering your timeframe.

I dont have that option... I am gonna see if someone can't just create a directory with password protection.
