display problem

Hi,

I recently got a GeForce 6200 256MB AGP card for my daughters pc and seem to be having a bit of an issue with it!

I installed it all ok and it works BUT when a window is closed or minimized or sometimes after the screensaver has been on, the desktop shows multi coloured pixels, the task bar goes blocky or a block of coloured pixels appear around the cursor!? Is this a fault with the card, a software fault or just because its not a very good card?

Any advice would be great.

    Was it a brand new card, or did you buy it new?

    yeah its brand new, gonna take it back to shop and get a different card.

    yes, you should change that card.

    Took it back and changed it for a 6600 and all works well now
