Hi!
I need to make an installer for a mod we're developing. The mod is called The Fourth Age: Total War, and it's a LOTR conversion for Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion version 1.6.
The installer will need to be able to delete files from the directory we're installing in. I know that the WinRAR SFX (self extractor) does this, but with that I can't make the necessary shortcut-options and shortcut command line options. Even greater would be the ability to delete folders, which is impossible for WinRAR. This would really help alot when we don't need to paste the location and filename of every file
Both are probably equally important. It would be plus if the installer somehow could be able to copy a whole load of files and paste it somewhere, so to make a backup, but that's just dreaming
