Adobe Reader installation error

So, every time I try to install Adobe Reader 7, or uninstall 6, or modify Acrobat 7, it gives me this completely random error. It looks for a file that make no sense to look for, but can't find it.

I've managed to get Acrobot uninstalled using the CS2 Uninstaller. I simply can't install the Reader, though, and it's really irritating me. I've tried every form of specialized uninstall program, and I just can't get it to work.

What can I do to stop this from happening?

    have you tried the microsoft installer cleanup tool?
