F.E.A.R. Extraction point

I ran out and got it yesterday. Good to be back in the F.E.A.R. world. I've only played an hour or so as I don't want to rush through it, I believe it's about 10 hours play. I've caught glimpses of a new 'monster' and the spooky girl is back but she asks for help this time, no doubt I'll find out what she wants as we go on.Anybody else got it yet?

    I haven't gotten it yet. Post your thoughts on the game after you finish it....without spoilers...sic:hrm: .

    I just got Prey and I must say it's very good. More like a tongue in cheek thing but with really wacky environments. Very violent tho. I played about an hour also. It's beautiful. The same engine more or less as F.E.A.R.

    I also got Vampire : Bloodlines at Half Price and its freaky weird. There is a good game in here some where I am sure of it. It's based on the Source engine same as Halflife 2. The facial animations are awesome. The general environments are not as good as Halflife 2 tho. I used a 3rd party patch and it fixed the game crashing that I got with just the official patch installed. I played thru the tutorial and set it aside for when I finish (yeah right) Oblivion.

    Good luck with F.E.A.R Extraction Point and play with the lights off and head phones on.....

    I believe it is about 8/10 hours of gameplay. I'm on the level called Extraction Point so I reckon I'm near the end, wish it was longer. It's very much the same as F.E.A.R. with a couple of new 'monsters'. The spooky girl is still about but it seems she wants my help, not sure what for yet though. Excellent game and it's cheaper than the original.
    I loved Prey to bits. I hope Prey 2 will happen in the not too distant future.

    I ordered FEAR from gogamer.com just the other day after reading your first post. I'm excited to get it, after plying the demo on the XBox 360. I ordered it for PC, since it was half the price of the 360 version.

    I can't wait to give it a go.

    I plan to get it in a couple months after I have a video card worth doing it justice.
