Do you know if it is stable and fine to install or is it like most MS upgrades?

    Ugh... It is terrible...

WMP11 runs extremely slow, especially on the online stores... Now by no means is my computer that weak... It's a P4 but it has a little punch left in it... WMP11 sucks it up though, runs terrible. Also, the online music stores are so very slow it is maddening... I've got a 1.5mb dedicated T1 and I'm getting half-loads and other crap.

Microsoft makes me angrier every time they release something so half-baked. Screw you M$. I'm sticking to iTunes. Even iTunes 7, with all of the initial problems, gave me less trouble than WMP11 in any form.

I had absolutely no issues with WMP11 beta on my little old Athlon XP 3200+ with 512 or 1GB of RAM.

I'm still running WMP11 beta on my machine and I must say I like it. Hasn't given me any problems. I haven't "upgraded" to the final version though. Very wary of the URGE music service. I Hate unasked for, unwanted invasive services forced onto me. Apparently you can't remove or hide it.

I'm still using WMP 9. Haven't found a good reason to upgrade yet.
