All depends on what you have now.

could you be a little more precise?

you mean processor, because i will get an nf7-s and with that new ram, thats what i mean when i want new ram, i want ram that will work good with a nf7-s and a 3000+

I've got some Kingston HyperX 3500 that is working great at a FSB of 200. I've just started overclocking, so I haven't found out this RAM's upper limit, but it's very stable so far.

you have a bunch of choices of ram that are rated at 2-3-2-6 or better at stock, 3200/400 speed.
HyperX, CMX, OCZ, Geil, Mushkin all make good 3200 cas2.
You need to watch out if you buy faster ram. There is some 4000 that is rated 2.5, but it wont run faster than 2.5 even at lower speeds.
If you want to keep it cheap buy some decent 3200. If you want to overclock, buy some cas2 4000.

what i want to know is if i get the kingston pc2700 2-2-2-5 can i overclock that to 3200 speeds, or can i get it to run at 3200 speeds at stock, and if i leave it at stock speeds would i still be able to decently overclock my processor fsb wise?

Your KHX comes with SPD timings of 2/2/2/6...

    I use Corsair 3500. 2/2/2/9 at 230.

If you overclock the pc2700 to pc3200 speeds you will not be able to run the tight timings so essential to good performance from AMD systems. If you are looking at good quality pc2700 then good quality pc3200 won't cost too much more and be well worth it. I have run my Corsair XMS3200C2 at 227 @ cas 2/2/2/5 rock stable. I suggest some XMS or Hyper-X rated for 3200 or 3500.

I believe the Geil situation is a hit or miss. I have heard great news about them overclocking well. But at the same time, have heard stories of them not running at stock speeds stable out the box. If you try Geil again, I would go with the Golden Dragon series, I have heard good things about those. Other than that get some Hyper X or some Buffalo tech.

yeah the golden dragon series looks like a possibility, because the geil i have right now runs great at stock speeds and voltages
