hi I just wanted to know how i find out what sound card I have. I know I have integrated 7.1 but how do I know the specific name of it so I can update the drivers for it? thanks
Well to find out the chipset etc you need to look in the device manager.
Right click on 'My Computer' and select Properties at the bottom. Then under one of the tabs you should see a button you can click to bring up the device manager. Once you have done that, click the little '+' next to Sound, Video, and game controllers... it will then expand and you should be able to see what you have.
