I am unsure if I heard this right, but I think I heard complaints about Nero 7 being crap? Would I be best to stick with 6 or is 7 OK? I ask because we have Nero 7 here at work and I left my Nero 6 install CD at home and I need to burn a Linux DVD ISO.

Personally, I loved Nero 6 to death. It was fast and did what it needed to do.

I am currently using Nero 7, and it has its issues but it isn't a terrible app. Make sure if you install it you JUST install Nero 7, try to avoid all the crap that it will install with it. A couple installs ago I installed Nero 7 Suite without paying attention and it ended up giving me a cover designer, a virtual cd drive (think daemon tools), a media player/manager, etc. It was a really PITA.

I think it all comes down to personal preference. Mine is Nero 6. If Vista RC1 would work with the copy of Nero 6 I have, I would be using it. However, Nero 7 still isn't bad stuff.

    cheers

Nero 6 for sure. Nero 7 gave me nothing but grief and if you play Oblivion at all nero 7 is a curse. Nero 6 does everything i need.

I use Nero 6.5.x.x and love it. I tried to love nero 7, but I just couldn't. It's hard for me to express why Nero 6 is better than 7, but the magic is an intangible. It just seems faster, with less bloat, and more stability.
