Hello all,
I have a Dell Dimension E510, running Windows XP 2002, it's less than a year old.
I have this problem, with increasing frequency, where the computer simply shuts down for no reason and I get a blue screen which says something to the effect of:
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR
...

I tried to run an error check upon start-up and it took 72 hours and when it finally stopped it said:
C0000218 Unknown Hard Error
I tried it a second time, it only took 24 hours and when it finally stopped it said:
C000021a Unknown Hard Error.
I followed all of the directions in this post (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43902) regarding what to do before composing a new thread here, and so here is my Active Scan Log:
