First up, I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong area!
I'd like to extend my thanks to the people on these forums. I'd recently downloaded a virus (Virus Buster, or something along those lines) which Norton AntiVirus couldn't pick up, letalone remove from my machine. I tried a myriad of "free" virus removal programmes all of which with no success.
One of which was SpyBot, that managed to pick up on it and remove it - along with a few other viruses I didn't even know I had. Well, it attempted to but the Virus Buster always managed to "appear" again when I restarted the computer.
I was on the verge of giving up when I stumbled across this website, I read the sticky on Malware and installed the nifty programme you had and within seconds my issue was resolved! (Although I skipped restarting my computer and using Safe Mode - wasn't sure how to go about that.)
It doesn't seem to have made a difference though, because by the looks of things my machine is adware and virus free and I couldn't of done it without the help I found at this website.
