ITunes 7 Install/Uninstall Issues

Recently I tried to install ITunes 7 on my computer. During the install something didn't go right, so I attempted to uninstall it and revert back to ITunes 6. For some reason no 6 won't install correctly now. I've removed 6 and 7 from the system using one of those add remove programs (not windows version!). I've tried several time with no success. I read online that a lot of people are having problems with version 7 so I figured that if I simply remove 7 and go back to 6 there would be no problems. I tried the system restore, it didn't correct it either. Does anyone know how to reinstall ITunnes 6 after upgrading to 7?

    Did you remove Quicktime and Apple Update facility as well? I had the same problem a few days ago when I moved 2 of my rigs back to Itunes 6 (7 is apparently way too resource heavy for a lowly PIII :P) and it kept coming up with errors because Quicktime was still there :)

    Try it and see....
