please help

well i built my own computer but im having alot of problems with it, it keeps restarting randomly, it says cpu fan error when i boot up half the time, alot of my games close randomly, when im on the internet it says it has encounterd a problem and needs to close half the time, and my cd and dvd drive dont work half the time(computer sees them but they cannot play discs, or they dont show up in computer but show up in bios or they work) if you could help that would be great, thank you.

    My first advice to you:

    Take your PC completely apart and put it back together very slowly, and very carefully. Make sure no part of the case is touching any part of the motherboard when you do it. You may have defective hardware, or it may just be hardware that isn't sitting right in the case.
