From around the web:

We have a number of recent hardware reviews: The SilverStone Zeus ST85ZF 850W PSU and the Asus Lamborghini VX1 Core 2 Duo Notebook at PCPer, the Sonos Digital Music System at TheTechLounge, the Pioneer PDP-5070HD Plasma TV at Digital Trends, and the Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case at TrustedReviews.

bit-tech is featuring a really sweet case mod dubbed Cold Fusion.

techPowerUP reports a 1 kilowatt PSU from OCZ

We've got some graphics card comparisons up at Hardware Secrets for both ATI and nVidia.

Linux is hot in the news right now, and there are recent articles on Using Linux at Work (Trusted Reviews), and Ubuntu: The Imperfect Alternative (Tweaknews) that you might find interesting.

Lastly, some motherboards: ASUS Striker Extreme (motherboards.org), Gigabyte GA-8I945GZME-RH 945GZ Express (PCStats), and the MSI K9N Diamond (Hardware Secrets).

Have an excellent Wednesday afternoon... now I'm going back to coding.

Bye Keebs... I'd really like to do the same, but it's been two months since I've had access to my server... and counting... and waiting... and getting fed up...

That Striker Extreme looks pretty cool; way out of the budget I bet... Plus it is Intel based but I guess I can deal with it... Just pair it with an 8800GTX and that 1kW OCZ and I'll be set... The power company will LOOOOVE me for sure.

Also, this was in yesterday's news, but I thought it was interesting:

    News:
At the Sun Java Open-sourcing announcement, there was hinting at a possible Solaris license change to the GPL, after the positive feedback regarding the GLP'd Java... (Which is great since I'm not a fan of GNU Java Compiler!)
