IE7 battles Zone Alarm

I was at a client's with my laptop and tried to browse somewhere on his network though My Network Places. Long wait, browser timed out. All processes I needed were enabled and running. However, I could just type in the share name, though that's a bit harder.
When I got home I played with it and noticed I could "fix" it by shutting down Zone Alarm. Did a lot of diagnosing, and finally just put my Acronis drive image back on here from October 7th. Sure enough I could browse a peer to peer network just fine. So then I made the changes to bring the computer back to where it was on November 15, and tried to browse my network after each install.
After each of those I could still browse the network with ZA up. Then:
I downloaded IE7. Now I have to kill ZA to browse the network.
