ctrl alt delete not working[resolved]

As the title says, it's not working. I have run AVG in safe mode with Sys Restore off, no infections. Spybot shows nothing. Ctrl, Alt Delete works fine in safe mode however. ...any suggestions? I've tried double clicking on taskmger in c:/windows/system32 and it says it is being used by another program. Can't delete it either.

    Thanks for your response, but it seems that all is well now. I ran Ad-Ware again, it found something, deleted it and task manager works now. Thanks again.

    glad to hear it as there's some malware that can/will disable task mgr..ill mark this solved/close it please start new thread if you run into any future malware :)
