Game trouble

I have a computer that I have been using to play a few games on. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Doom3 and Gun. I didn't have any problems playing any except sometimes when moving around in Gun it would slow down.
But now all of a sudden I get to a certain point where the game just shuts down in Gun and I can't even get Splinter Cell to load. Doom3 seems good so far. Is there something that would go bad eventually to make these things happen??
The graphics card is a Geforce 3 ti200 and the processor is 2500+

For what it's worth, I found nothing negative Googling that card with Gun or Splinter Cell- weird. Any error messages pop up?

Have you updated their drivers? I think they just released a new set...

Nope no errors. Its weird because Splinter Cell used to be fine on it. I will check on the newer drivers for the graphics card.

I'd be quite supprised if any of those games ran well on a Geforce 3 to be honest. Have you changed anything with your setup at all? Updated drivers?

It could be bad memory too. Check your memory with Memtest86

Is there a good AGP card that can play the newer games or am I going to have to upgrade the whole system? I will check the memory today at lunch.
    Thanks guys.
