How to embed nVidia SATA drivers when installing Windows XP?
MJO
Denmark New
My patience finally ran out, I need to get the new rig up and running.
I found an old Matrox Mystique PCI, that will do untill my G80 arrives. :rolleyes2
I believe it has 4 MB ram, that is way less than the cache on my harddrives.
But I do not have a floppy drive for the new rig, and WinXP needs the SATA drivers.
I suppose I can embed them on a bootable WinXP install disc, but how do I do that? (And will that work?)
Please does anyone have a guide or anything else I can look at?
It is gonna be great, an Athlon64 X2 4200+ with an old Matrox card does it get any better?

I used the guide you linked to while looking at another guide being more specific concerning the slipstreaming of the nVidia SATA drivers.
I have lost the link, but if I can find it again I will post it here.
Now I am browsing Short-Media using my trusty old Matrox Mystique 220
(Meaning it actually worked)
Speaking of Matrox, I remember when I bought my G200 and it was the big deal. Then came the 3-D revolution and all the old 2-D cards suddenly looked pretty punk.
