It seems Futuremark took the opportunity of tweaking its code for Vista to iron out a few bugs in the various routines it produces, and with this opportunity 3DMark06, 3DMark05 and PCMark05 have all been updated.

The company wants all benchmarkers to download the patches so that valid comparisons between systems will be possible. All the benchmarks except 3DMark05 Build 1.3.0 are enabled for Windows Vista, the company reckons.
Users of the Basic (free) editions will now only be able view their scores online. A new service called "Result Analyzer" is one of the key elements of the next generation of benchmarks from Futuremark, the company says.

Don't you think a PM instead of a public notice would be a nicer way to handle things like this? ;)

I just figured there was some kind of joke I was missing. Or Sledge hit the sauce too hard before posting.

As for the spelling error - give me a break. This is really early in the day for me to be awake.

Seriously. I haven't seen the sun in about 4 days.

I will try to keep your bohemian lifestyle and unusual schedule in mind the next time I feel the urge to correct you. :vimp:

You had a few typos, but no actual misspellings. The typos were repaired by our excellent Short-Media oversight system.

I think the fault lies with your enormous Gigantor-sized hands. You need a keyboard with extra-large keys so you don't accidentally hit two or three keys at a time.

    Naturally, I blame myself. :mullet:

It is Polockish Gigantorian language... isn't that becoming common yet?
