How to apply a fill effect to a text in Word? (not to background)

Would you teach me a method, to apply a fill effect to a text in Word?
To see my attempt, Would you please see a screenshot attached to this post?

    You can't, as far as I'm aware. Fill effect will work in a Text Box, if that's any good to you.

    I don't think you can in Word. You want a desktop publisher. If you have Word, you may also have MS Publisher. That has the wordart thing swaip is talking about. That has fill affects for fonts.

    MS Word has wordart. It allows you to use fill effects on text.

    Easier:

    Select - Insert > Picture > Wordart

    The Wordart interface is rather intuitive, so shouldn't give you any trouble. :)

    Thank you for all your response!

    I have decided to: ask Microsoft to create an add-on enabling the feature or to add the feature to future Word, since I would like to apply the fill effect to plain text in Word.
