ATI has a new chip that is set to replace the X300 and X550 chips on the market. It will be clocked at 400MHz core and 666MHz memory. It supports both 64- and 128- bit memory interfaces.

These cards are very cheap and will be just enough to run windows Vista, which apparently is the sole reason for their existence.

With 666MHz set for the speed of the memory it looks like this chip will be the most evil one on the market. I won't be surprised if Nvidia comes out with a 8100 with 777MHz set for its memory speed.
