[Resolved]downloaded demo and cannot get rid of it.

Hello,

This is not a major problem. I just wanted to let whoever reads this know that, if they can help other people first that have a more serious problem, please do. Thank you for your help guys.

My problem is I downloaded the demo game Hitman blood money and the .exe fill on my desktop will not delete. I cannot throw it into the garbage can, I have searched folders for other files and found nothing. It is really annoying. I ran norton, ad-ware, and sbybot! I hope this problem is nothing major. Thanks.

Justin

Download Killbox and save it to your desktop.

Next, copy everything in the Quote box below by pressing Ctrl+C
    C:\Documents and Settings\Justin Ostry\Desktop\hitmanbloodmoneydemo.exe
    Next, open Killbox
Go to File tab and select Paste from Clipboard
Select the Delete on Reboot option
    Select Single File
Now click on the Red Circle with the White X
Press Yes to reboot your computer.

Let me know if that worked.

It worked! thank you. One more question what do I do with the killbox? How do I get rid of that?

Just delete it. Right-Click and select Delete.

Killbox would have created a C:\!Killbox backup folder. You can delete that too.
