Can't Reformat?!

When i boot up from the windows xp or windows vista CD it says it cannot find my hard drive...and i dont know how to fix this can someone help me please!

Harddrive: WesternDigital 250gb (WDC WD25 00JS-60NCB1 SCSI Disk Device)
Motherboard: Asus P4S800D-X

I heard i have to have a floppy drive to install something but i dont know what to do...

    You'll need a floppy disk with the SATA drivers. Look for something at the bottom of the screen during the early stages of Windows Setup prompting you to install 3rd Part Drivers. :)

    The Download page for your board is here. I don't see an SATA driver specifically mentioned, but it may be part of the RAID driver package.

    You could also check on the CD which came with your board and see if there is a utility for making the floppy disk you need. There also may have been a floppy included with the motherboard package. :)
