Best way to video conference?

One of my clients is going to Florida for the next 6 weeks. She'll be in a lot of contact with her main person and wants video for these long phone calls. I don't know what the bandwidth will be in the various places in FL so I'm telling her to just do voice over cell phone and video over IP.

These two barely know how to right click so it's gotta be simple. All I've seen is video through the various Instant Messenger things and it's pretty limited. Seems you can have small and very choppy, or smaller and a bit less choppy.

Is there a better (free) way to connect two people with video cams on their computers?

My impression of all of those is that it's a picture of about 180 X 180 pixels and a bit choppy. Or....I can go up to about 300 X 300 and get it even choppier. Is that just the state of the art?

with isight and ichat combo, the resolution is quiet a bit bigger than 180x180, and it's not choppy at all, but that all depends on your connection.
