Im tryin to make things easier on the guys who do all the imaging of the machines here at work, one thing that hinders work is automatic updates piping down from the SUS server. Im trying to force it to download and install them all at once.

( i already know i can stop the SUS service and kick it back up once we are done, but if i get caught doing that i get reemed )

what i have tried was disabling the service with NET STOP WUAUSERV and then reenabling the service a few minutes later, thinking that would kick off a detection. but it didnt. then i tried forcing the update client on the machine to go look for them using WUAUCLT /DETECTNOW.

neither seem to be doing what i want them to do, does anyone know of a set of commands that can forcibly detect for updates on a SUS server?
