Here's a thread that you might find helpful - the same issue is discussed here:
    http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread32941.html

Nero has "Clean Tools" for versions 6 & 7. They also have a "General" and a "Driver" clean tool.

You can go here and choose Tool & Utilities
    http://www.nero.com/enu/Support.html

I've had limited success w/ their clean tools but they can be helpful to some
degree. The "clean" tools do *some* cleaning, however, they leave loads of
Nero tracks behind in the form of directories, files, & registry keys, etc. You
can go in and excise these tracks, however, it may not be necessary to do
so after running the clean tools. The clean tools may perform enough
cleanup to permit you to re-install the suite successfully.

    Note:
Odly, the clean tools expect to find the product installed b-e-f-o-r-e they
clean. If you've run an uninstall of the Nero suite, the clean tool may balk
because it can't find the installation directory or particular files in the
    installation directory.

I usually use other utilities in conjunction w/ an app's uninstaller to cleanup
after it. One free & very handy utility is CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com).
CCleaner has an uninstaller in its TOOLS section, too. RegistryFix
(http://www.registryfix.com) is another useful utility but it isn't free.

Let us know how it goes, ok?

 That's great! Which method did you use? (For the benefit of others who are experiencing the same issue.)
