New Setup
I'm thinking of switching from Intel to AMD. Is an Asus A8V-X motherboard with an Athlon 3800 a good combination? And can I use my 40 GB of 32 bit software with it? I'm a total newbie and would appreciate any help. I live in Chile and that's the only AMD combination they could offer me, but I thought I would ask you guys first. By the way, my other thread about computer not rebooting while installing XP; well it turns out my Intel Prescot 3200MHZ has fried after only 8 months.
