Alcan.A Limewire virus, please help

hello, this is my first time in a forum. please excuse any etiquette fouls
the symptoms include limewire launching automatically to help spread the virus. i can't open my task manager. also if i run a virus scan, the program is closed as if to prevent the virus being picked up. i have run ad-aware, S&D, trendmicro and mcafee to no avail. here is a log from hijack this (in safe mode). any advice would be great. thanks

    Hello. :)

    You are using an outdated version of HijackThis. Please download HijackThis version 1.99.1 from here:
    http://www.downloads.subratam.org/hijackthis.zip
    and make sure to unzip it to a permanent folder. Then please run HijackThis (in normal mode please), click Scan and Save log, and post the new log here. I would be happy to take a look at it.

    Hi, thanks for the quick response, sorry I got caught up in the holidays. Here is a recent log. I've tried deleting some files, and the task manager will now pop up. Current symptoms include buggy internet browsers (cant tab between windows, download options limited) and i can not directly send files to others via AIM file send without being kicked off. im positive that these are results of the virus as they never occurred before. thanks

    Your HijackThis log is not showing much.

    Download and install AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5
    • Open AVG Anti-Spyware
    • Click on the Update icon at the top of the window
      • Click on the Start update button
      • Wait for the update to download and install
    • Click on the Scanner icon at the top of the window
      • Click on the Settings tab then select Recommended Options and choose Quarantine
      • Click on the Scan tab
        • Select Complete System Scan. Ewido will now begin to scan your system
    • When the scan has completed, click on the Save Scan Report button and save the scan to your Desktop where it can be easily found
    • Copy and paste the scan results into your next post.
