Help! Can't run antivirus nor firewall!

I think I have a big problem... I had Sygate Personal Firewall and Antivir.
It happened that the time to activate the antivir guard at the system startup became suddenly very long (maybe one minute) instead of few seconds. I tried to reinstall the antivirus, but I can't... The Installation program can't write some .exe files. Then I discover my firewall icon was not present. I tried to run the program, it sad the file was corrupted. I tried to install the firewall again, but I received the message:

"Error 1304. Error writing to file: C:\Program Files\Sygate\SPF\SMC.exe. Verify that you have acces to that directory."

So I'm running without antivirus and firewall at the moment...

I have got same problem as you. Suddenly, without any interaction of mine, Sygate has been uninstalled.
I tried to install it again but I got your same problem:

As I told before, I had your same problems, with sygate and avast...
the reason is that I have got Bagle Virus, that cause block and deletion of securuty programs like firewall and antivirus, it make impossible to reinstall them, and it disable Safe Reboot of Windows XP (so you cannot reboot in safe mode to avoid the load of the viruses).

So... I've use another HD, installing WinXP and now I'm scanning the infected HD.

So I've not seen in your log that kind of virus, that go in registry key and make m_hook key.

But sure you have got an rootkit virus.
