    Download the attached zip file and unzip fixme.reg. Close all browser windows. Double click the file to run it and when asked if you want to merge with your registry, answer yes.
    Reboot.

    ==

    Please run Smitfraudfix option #1 again and post the log. Rescan with hijackthis and post the log.

    Can you please do the following.

    ===============

    Scan with HijackThis and then place a check next to all the following, if present:

    O21 - SSODL: buprestidae - {b59f3ba4-98da-4b5f-8a2d-7b56fb11140b} - (no file)

    Now, close all instances of Internet Explorer and any other windows you have open except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

    ===============

    After that you should be right.

    Did you have IE closed when you 'fix checked' with hijackthis? The following entry should have been removed;

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]
    "{b59f3ba4-98da-4b5f-8a2d-7b56fb11140b}"="buprestidae"

    Download the attached zip file and unzip fixme.reg. Close all browser windows. Double click the file to run it and when asked if you want to merge with your registry, answer yes.
    Reboot when done and check if the entry is gone this time.
