[Inactive] PC all of a sudden extremely slow

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my PC. Let me explain: last week everything went fine, no trouble at all. In the morning I booted my pc and it lasted for ages; so the first thing I diisabled where all the prgrams that start at boot, but no succes.
Then when I tried to open a program it took me about 3 minutes before it actually started, even when I have a low CPU busy percentage and low level memory use.
I've then defragmentated my 2 partitions, checked them on faults, but nothing changed. I've erased some programs I didn't need anymore, but none of my actions had any success on my PC achievements...
Then I find out your site en followed all the steps in the sticky "read me first" topic of this forrum; but again, no major improvements
So I'm posting my hijack log and panda online scan report; can someone please help me?
Do I have a nasty bug or virus or trojan or did I delete some stuff that shouldn't be deleted?

Note: I don't want to format my PC because it contains all my school data and I'm having exams at the moment, so no time for backups and clean install and stuff like that

Thx in advance
GekkeGwuido

Click on start, settings, control panel and double-click on Add or Remove Programs.
From within Add or Remove Programs uninstall the following if they exist:
    Spyware Quake
Then reboot your computer - IMPORTANT

    **¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**¨''¨**

    Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Any reason why your windows isn't up to date? You don't have even ServicePack1 installed!
Remember that your system is extremely vulnerable without the necessary security patches/updates, so malware can get installed automatically while surfing without any problems.
Please visit http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/sp1/default.mspx and update to Service Pack 1. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
When your system is clean afterwards, then update to SP2, because updating to SP2 CAN cause problems as long as you are infected."
Please update to SP1 and then continue with the instructions.

    Show your hidden files
To enable the viewing of Hidden files follow these steps:
    • Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.
    • Double-click on the My Computer icon (or click Start, then select My Computer)
    • Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
    • After the new window appears select the View tab.
    • Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Display the contents of system folders.
    • Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders.
    • Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide file extensions for known file types.
    • Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files.
    • Press the Apply button and then the OK button and shutdown My Computer.
Now your computer is configured to show all hidden files.

Reboot Your System in Safe Mode
How to use the F8 method to Start Your Computer in Safe Mode
    Restart the computer.
As soon as BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until the Advanced Options menu appears.
Use the arrow keys to select the Safe mode menu item
    Press Enter.
Using Windows Explorer (Windows Key + E), locate the following files/folders, and DELETE them:

    C:\Program Files\SpywareQuake.com

    Exit Explorer.
    • Run HijackThis
    • Click on the "Do a System Scan Only" button
    • Put a check beside all of the items listed below (if present):

    • Click on the "Fix Checked" button
    • When completed, close the application and REBOOT BACK INTO NORMAL MODE
