You have an upgrade version of Windows XP. You must have one of two things in order to use it:

    1) A prior version of Windows (2000, ME, 98...) already installed on your hard drive.

    - OR -

    2) A valid disc for a prior version of Windows so you can insert it for the Windows XP installer to inspect.

You won't be able to continue the installation without one of these.

The good news is that you can probably score a used version of Win98 (or any of the others that Thrax mentioned) for peanuts. Just make sure you get a full version and that it is an original disc. :)
