Software to pause a share

In looking for some software that can pause a share.

more accuratly, i want to be able to stop a share so no more people can connect to it, but the people who are on can continue accessing files until they isconnect. i dont want to stp the share, just keep new people from connecting.

    Is this a network share on an NTFS volume, other file system, or a torrent share?

    NTFS share on a domain. i have complete admin rights to the machine, but i dont want to have to monitor who is connected to it and then kick them off.

    i want to like disable new connections and wait for the existing ones to be closed client side.
