I'm getting a new core for my system from a friend (Gigabyte board, AMD 3500 CPU, and 2 GB RAM) and I'd like a good match with a video card. Any suggestions? This is for gaming!! Thanks!
Lots of choices, for gaming a 7900GS has to be the best buy going.

I think any nVIDIA card from the 7900 or 7800 series would certainly be suitable. nVIDIA is definitely the way to go especially if you're using an nForce chipset motherboard.

Any single core GPU will run with a 3500+. I have had x1800's and 7900GTX's paired on a similar setup with great results.
I can't really afford two of those, but I prefer Nvidia. Any particular brand I should try and get?
EDIT: Forgot to mention it'll be PCI-E

actually the 7950GT is the best bang for your buck currently for PCI-E which is what you linked to.
XFX & EVGA are the kings of Nvidia cards....
