Hey all,

I have a creative zen touch - 20gb hdd mp3 player.

Long story cut short - I dropped it twice when wasted, hence none of the buttons on the front work :p

I've tried to fix it but the buttons arent having any of it - due to the location of the hdd inside the device - its totally fine!!

How can I convert this nice little device to just be a portable 20gb hdd???

(Otherwise its just sitting here going to waste - I have a new mp3 player)

I have the one of those as well, the 40 GB one, but was never suscessful using it to do anything other than to play music. When yours was working, were you ever able to use it as a large thumb drive? - kind of off topic.

I'm not sure I ever tried it to be honest, I think I might have put like a word document or a text document in it at some point - but only as a test- I never had much of a need for it when I was using it as an mp3 player - it would be useful now thou!
