Newbie with a problem - win32.trojandownloader.agent.am

Hi All,

Thanks for letting me join, and many apologies if this is a thread that has come up time and again but seeing as I just had a letter from the bank to say there have been some unexplainable transactions on my account, I thought it best to get help from the experts! So, here I am!

I ran ad-aware at the weekend after my mouse was being a bit jumpy. In the last few days when I switch on the computer, the windows folder automatically pops open as if it's part of the start up process. There have been a few other strange goings on with my email account.

I cleared the win32.TrojanDownloader.Agent.am off the computer, but as soon as I reboot and rescan, it's there again.

This is all gobbledeegook to me I'm afraid. Is there a way of deleting this for good? how can I protect against it in the future? I have norton anti-virus with internet security but it didn't pick it up.
