Adware/Trojan Confusion
I currently have a computer which i have been pretty sloppy in looking after.
So i decided to do a virus scan using ComodoAV and found a lot files with things along the line of
not-a-virus:adware.win32.wintol.a, c:\documents and settings\owner\local settings\temp\~14604.tmp
not-a-virus:adware.win32.gator.6041, c:\program files\common files\cmeii\GController.dll
Trojan-Downloader.Win32.istbar.gk, c:\windows\downloaded program files\YSBactivex.dll
There are 72 of these, mainly the first 2 with varying letters or numbers in various locations with a few of the third type. I clicked quarantine (accidently) and nothing sees to be going wrong, although nothing was wrong to begin with.
So my question is, should i be worried about this files? And if so what should i do. Right now i'm just running through the basic stuff like AdAware, Spybot, CCleaner

DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
Infections can change and fresh instructions will now need to be given. This topic is now closed, if you still require assistance then please start a new topic in the Spyware & Virus Removal Forum
