ads on left side

can we move them to the right? I (like most of you, I assume) read left->right, and I think they'd be much less obtrusive if they were on the right.

    Yeh, the ads being on the left are really ****ing with me. if they were on the right it would be so much more tolerable.

    Air Duct cleaning? A/C or cooling issues? hmmm....me thinks the ads are off...although they could sell us some good phase change components :D:D

    I'd rather they were at the top, then the forum page can use all the screen instead of a blank stripe for half the page. I'd rather they were nowhere really but...

    I could make the posts wrap around the ads so they're full width again after the ads stop, but I thought it looked worse...

    I, too, am greatly irritated by having the ads on the left. I'm going to turn them off in greasemonkey. :\

    No I am right handed... for some reason I've gotten so used to ad's that unless they pop up and block my view entirely I never notice them except when topics like this come up... where was it before? I think I recall it was at the very top of the page at one point.

    Frankly, any site that resorts to these flash based ad's that I can to find the hidden close button so I can read the damned text is henceforth BANNED from any of my computers. If it's bad enough I'll even put them on my hosts list so I don't ever worry about it. I am too lazy to figure out these addon's that apparently bypass some of them. And I don't want to remove flash from my system.

    Wait..we had ads on the right before? I never noticed them :vimp: but I just started noticing the other day the ads on the left and was like wtf. I'm gonna start to learn to read right to left now.

    They are fine by me...but if you EVER place ads between posts..../wave

    There is a HUUUGE place at the bottom as well, next to posting rules and Forum jump. Absolutely nothing there but white.

    I think the ads are the greatest thing ever. If we didn't have them, how could we have fun events with lots of prizes and pay the enormous hosting bill and all the other benefits that the members enjoy for free?

    If all I have to do is look at ads, it's a small price to pay for the fun content, free tech support, and other benefits of this WONDERFUL COMMUNITY
