What can I use with Vista 64bit?

I just installed Vista 64bit Home Premium and unfortunatly AVG does not work with 64bit Windows erm can anyone please help me to find an Antivirus and firewall that does? I feel vunerable!

    Super, I would suggest there aren't a lot of people here that have experience with Vista 64bit. I see 20 minutes of Google in your future....

    Haha ok.

    I checked Vista and it recommended AVG but I think I will need to wait for a 64bit version, worth a try asking here though :D

    Ok I got AVG Malware.

    It would be nice to have a thread about Vista drivers.

    is vista 64bit??? i thought it was 32-bit...or is there different ones???

    There are 6 varieties of Vista, from basic to ultimate-- I know ultimate is 64 bit, and know basic is 32 bit compatible if not ONLY 32 bit.

    There is also a vista basic upgrade coming available for purchase. Vista basic requires fewer resources and has less RAM-consuming graphical desktops. For Vista Ultimate I would suggest a minimum of 1 GB RAM, a 64 bit CPU on a recent motherboard, and a DirectX 10 capable video card. For Basic, minimum 512MB RAM, and Basic is for 32 bit systems and will not have the fancy graphics ultimate will have. The in between Vistas vary in what they will cost and if they have ads or not (more expensive for an adless version, also an ad-laden version can be changed to an adless version in return for money paid to Microsoft for an adless version license fee).

    All 6 come either way Staight_Man. There's also a more-basic-than-basic version that's not available in the US that is only 32 bit. See chart attached.
