Wireless bridge

I am curious about doing something, I'd like to expand a wireless signal. So one AP's internet connection can be transferred to the next. Basically the setup is like this:

Internet > Gateway > Wireless Router 'A' > Wireless Router 'B' > Computer

Any ideas? Both AP's are Linksys WRT54G with HyperWRT if that helps.

OK when I get home I think I am going to try either svesoft or ddwrt which support WDS and bridging. At least this is what I can tell so far.

RWB I was hoping someone would tell you how to do it. I tried almost exactly the same thing about a year ago. I think I got it to work, but badly. I finally gave up so if you get it post it back here if you would please.

I'm gonna work on it at work... but a quick tip for people looking for a better connection. I do this for people at our hotels who have issues with signal strength and whatnot. Turn off the RADIO, and disable the connection physically. Such as on my laptop I have a physical switch which turns off the wireless completely. Turn it back on, and viola... you have a better connection, of course it can't fix the issue 100% but it sure does help at least for a bit. Dunno why.

That's a good idea, RWB. I do that, too. I don't know either though why it works.

    With a cement trowel, maybe?

Linksys has an ftp utility that can get firmware into a brick sometimes. Ever used that RWB? Is there another way?

Well I am almost tempted to build my own router... but I am looking into it still. I know I've seen info on how to debrick a router before
