Vista software RAID1 - These drives compatible?
I've been trying to software stripe these WD drives using windows vista disk management. It always stops with this error: The attempted operation is invalid. They are both on IDE channel 1.
The size, speed, seek/read/write, cache seem the same. Can anyone tell me if they are compatible with each other?

Process:
Delete partitions on both disks
Right-click Disk0
Click [New striped volume]
Click [Next]
Add Disk1
Click [Next]
Assign drive letter F
Click [Next]
Format NTFS, Default allocation unit size
Click [Next]
Click [Finish]
Click [Yes]
