Where can I see old thread? Is it archived?

Would you please tell me- a place I can see an old thread if you would so kind to me? The old thread means, for instance, a thread posted by someone other than me in 2006 at General Software section.

I would like to surf those old threads for search purpose, but now I can see only- a thread posted in 2007, at the General Software section.:(

    A couple ways.

    - At the bottom of that forum, there is a drop down that can let you choose to see threads from different periods of time. If you choose "A year ago" you should be able to then page through the threads.

    - Try the advanced search, typing in your username and selecting the forum: http://www.short-media.com/forum/search.php

    - Click on you own name to go to this page: http://www.short-media.com/forum/member.php?u=19798 and then click "See all posts by Helpneed" and page back to the one you're looking for.

    Personally, I'd opt for the search myself :)
