A router really isn't intalled on any particular computer. The manufacturers send you install disks, but that really just helps automate the process of configuring the router. Once it's configured, the router only sees a bunch of MAC addresses. It has no idea which computer ran the install disk.

You say that as if you know the problem is the wireless.....do you have the same problem if you turn off your wireless and just plug into one of the LAN ports on the Belkin? You say your sister has "the adaptor connected to her laptop". Does that mean she's plugged in to the Belkin? And does she have the same problem? Is it just your computer, both computers, is it just wireless computers or is it computers that are attached wirelessly and with CAT5 cable?

I don't think we know the problem yet. I also don't know about Belkin having trouble with your ISP. That might be if you are a PPPoE kind of connection. Check with your ISP to find that out.

i say it because i didnt have the problems before i got wireless ..as in .. it worked fine

Now whenever i try pluggin in the cable instead of the wireless i get a "limited or no connectivity message"

Your confussing me with all this talk because as i said i dont know anythin about computers

My sister does have the same problems as me

Im the one who is plugged into the belkin .. i have the internet connection in my room so the belkin into my modem

its the computers that run wirelessly .. as a friend comes over and he his acts the same way when he is here

i dont know what CATS cable is

    also a PPPoE connection ???
