Where could i find?

rs232 to ttl circuit chip, i know you can't buy them by themselves, but which currently used computer items contain them. I'm pretty sure some mouses do but when i asked someone at RadioShack if a mouse had the chip they looked at me like i was stupid.

maybe a computer swap-and-shop type thing would be best?

Thanks.

they have good results, but for converters and cables, i have the converter i need but i need the chip. and unfortunatley i can't seem to find good results on google :/

it's to build a console port, so i need something that uses a serial port and has that chip, because not everything with a port has it, which makes it a little harder to find.

You can buy the board at Radioshack (so you can make it yourself) and the chip is called ICL3221 (I think). They don't seem to sell it assembled.
