Nvidia has announced the official release of the GeForce 8800 GTS with 320MB of video memory.
These cards match the 640MB models in core speed, clock speed and shader processors. The only sacrifice is half the video memory.
For suggested retail prices of between $299-$349 compared to the 640MB models which retail between $399 and $449 at most major retail stores, it's sure to find a very solid place in the GPU market.
