Cannot stop pop-ups

All of a sudden I am being bombarded with pop-ups. My pop-up blocker is turned on and I have scanned the computer for spyware and I cannot seem to find the problem anywhere. I folllowed the seven steps and saved the logs. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    First of all could you click Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and uninstall 'Window Search', 'Window Searching', 'Lop.com', 'LOP SEARCH', 'Browser Enhancer', or 'Ultimate Browser Enhancer' if listed. You may be given a code to insert, do so and reboot when done. If not listed there, run the Lop Remover from:
    http://66.220.17.157/help.html

    ==

    Once you have rebooted, rescan with hijackthis and post a new log please.

    If it isn't in the add/remove section, please do the above :).

    Let's do it this way then.

    ===============

    Can you disable Windows Defender as it may interfere with the removal process. Please leave it disabled until your PC has been given the all clear.
    • Open Windows Defender
    • Click Tools
    • Click General Settings
    • Scroll down to Real Time Protection Options
    • Uncheck Turn on Real Time Protection (recommended)
    • After you uncheck this, click on the Save button
    • Close Windows Defender

    ===============

    Scan with HijackThis and then place a check next to all the following, if present:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Time dash grid memo] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\FlagDentTimeDash\SiteMail.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Bias Chin] C:\DOCUME~1\sitara\APPLIC~1\ADMINB~1\Meet one.exe
    O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Works Calendar Reminders.lnk = ?

    O8 - Extra context menu item: &Search - http://kl.bar.need2find.com/KL/menusearch.html?p=KL

    O11 - Options group: [INTERNATIONAL] International*

    O18 - Filter: text/html - (no CLSID) - (no file)

    Now, close all instances of Internet Explorer and any other windows you have open except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

    ===============

    Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure you are able to view system and hidden files/ folders:

    folders...

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\FlagDentTimeDash
    C:\DOCUME~1\sitara\APPLIC~1\ADMINB~1

    -

    Note that some of these file(s)/folder(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them in Safe Mode by doing the following:
    • Restart your computer
    • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
    • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear.
    Select the first option to run Windows in Safe Mode hit enter.

    -

    Reboot.

    ===============

    Run hijackthis and hit the Open the Misc Tools Section and then the Open Uninstall Manager.

    Then hit the Save List button. Save to the desktop for easy access. Open the log file and copy the entire list and paste it here please.

    ===========

    Copy the bold text below and paste it into notepad. Save it to your desktop as find.bat and make sure type is set to All Files.

    cd\
    cd Program Files
    DIR /AD /B /P > ProgramFiles.txt
    start ProgramFiles.txt
    cls
    exit

    Double click find.bat and let it run for a minute. It will open up a report in notepad. Please copy that text and post it here in your next reply.

    Crunchie,

    I did the part with Windows Defender. Next, the HijackThis was done, and the following came up in a little window:

    Unexpected error occurred!
    Error #52 (Bad file name or number) in Sub GetLongPath(?.exe).
    Please send a report to merijn@spywareinfo.com, mentioning what you were doing, and what version of Windows you have.
    This message has been copied to your clipboard.

    What should I do now?

    Thank you so much for your time. I'm sorry about the delay in this response, but my internet was down.

    No go with two firewalls. You will find that one will do all the work and the other will just use up your resources :). One good one is sufficient imo.
    Both those last logs look ok so can you just post a new hijackthis log please.

    I also downloaded and installed antivir. Ever since I did so, when the screen saver comes up and I come back Antivir keeps saying that it found a virus. There are two of them that it keeps finding. These are them:

    Found a virus or unwanted program 'W95/Blumblebee.1738' [virus]
    in file 'C:\System Volume Information\_restore{761E84D0-9CFF-4AA2-AFFE-33E22EB76641}\RP42\A0004372.dll'.
    Action taken: The file could not be deleted!;Access is denied.
    ;The file could not be marked for deleting after reboot. Error description: Access is denied.

    Virus or unwanted program 'TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen'
    detected in file 'C:\System Volume Information\_restore{761E84D0-9CFF-4AA2-AFFE-33E22EB76641}\RP42\A0004370.exe' [TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen].

    What should I do about that? Ohh, and btw I haven't gotten anymore pop-ups :)

    Please try the following and when we are done, we will rid you of the ones found by antivir;

    click start-run and copy paste "C:\DOCUME~1\sitara\APPLIC~1\ADMINB~1\Meet one.exe" -uninstall

    and hit ok.

    Reboot when done and post another log please.

    Crunchie,

    It's giving me an error stating that the specified location is unavailable, it may be on the hard-drive or on a local network...

    Can you update AVG anti-spyware's definitions file, boot into safe mode and run a scan, quarantining whatever is found. Post a log from that and hijackthis once you are back in normal mode please.

    Can you please disable AVG anti-spyware so that it's real-time protection is no longer active, along with Windows Defender, then try this again;

    click start-run and copy paste "C:\DOCUME~1\sitara\APPLIC~1\ADMINB~1\Meet one.exe" -uninstall

    and hit ok.

    Go here and download then run Silent Runners.vbs. Right click on the download link and select Save Target As. Save it to the desktop or to a folder in a permanent directory. It generates a log which will be created in the same folder you are running it from. Please post the information back in this thread.
    If you have a script blocking program, please allow the file to run. It is not malicious.
