Color Codes

I have a question about adding color codes to microsoft excel. Is it possible? I have a long list of codes that aren't in MS Excel and I'd like to add them so I have more color options for a project I'm working on for my wife. Does anyone have any knowledge to do this?

    Without purchasing a software package or using vb code here is a work around :)
    If you open excel go to tools - options
    look for the tab = color
    pick the color you would like to change then click on modify
    you can choose set color or custom.

    Once you have made your changes save the excel workbook i.e. change color

    When you need to work with your chosen colors open the workbook "change color" use it then save as "whatever" it will retain your color choices.

    If you want the standard excel colors for a new workbook just open excel as normal the template is usually called book1
