Gateway Sound driver help
Hi Guys,
I am working on a Gateway MX8715. It seems to be hard coded to Vista but I have gotten around that for the most part by using drivers for the MX8710 model. I am stuck on the Sigmatel Sound Driver. I have tried most of the drivers on the Gateway site and tehy either are not compatible with the hardware, or not compatible with the OS (XP Pro). Sigmatel has since sold their driver support to idt.com and I can't seem to get any help there. I can't seem to find the specs on the specific hardware to look for a specific XP driver and the BEEP that accompanies an unsuccessful install is really irritating. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
