XP Key - is there a way to figure out what kind of key it is?

I have a valid, legit XP key, but I don't know what kind of key it is - I thought it was a Pro OEM key, but I guess I'm wrong because it's not working.

Is there a program or website out there that will tell you what kind of key it is if you type it in?

    Hmm never tried to find what a key ties to only used a program to find a key on a system...

    This program works pretty good to find what CD key you system is using :)http://www.product-key.com/

    Talks about the setupp.ini and the PID that is on the disc, then you can see what kind of key its looking for.

    EDIT: Oh crap, that does you no good, you have a disc, you want to know what the key is....well, maybe this will be useful for someone sometime :rolleyes::eek:
