Memtest from Windows?

Is there a memory test program I can use from within windows as I don't have any CD-R's or anything for the memtest program.

    The problem with testing memory from within Windows is that Windows occupies a considerable portion of memory and do not allow the testing programs to access it. So you will not be able to test some portion of the memory. The best thing you can do inside Windows, IMHO, is to run Prime95 with the large memory option. It uses every bit of available memory and forces everything else to be shifted to the swap space as much as possible. It is a pretty reliable memory test if you are sure that your processor is stable.

    You can also run Memtest from a DOS bootable flash disk. There is a DOS executable available at Memtest86+ website.

    Will your machine boot from USB device? That is another option for memtest.
